CHERRY BEANS CAFFE - ST IVES, SYDNEY
Cherry Beans Caffe
166 Mona Vale Rd, St Ives,
St Ives Shopping Village
Sydney, NSW 02075
I don't know if this place is new or not because I haven't been to St Ives for a while. Its tucked away at the quieter end - away from Woolworth's, and has plenty of space as it spreads out from the shop area to the wider mall area - but in a tasteful way.
I went for the bacon and eggs on Turkish bread - a nice looking B & E roll. The eggs were nicely cooked - not overcooked and the bacon was nicely done too. My one little gripe with Turkish is that it can sometimes be a bit hard - and this was one of those times. Its not their fault - thin Turkish is a risk for this. Overall though the roll was delicious, well prepared and tasty.
My large coffee was also very nice. Good flavours and temperature. Couldn't fault it.
The service at Cherry Beans was friendly, efficient and attentive without crowding. It was good. Its a nice place that hasn't quite attracted the crowds it should as its a bit isolated - but it wont take long I'm sure!
